OVERVIEW
Coaching the multi-sport athlete requires an extensive understanding of sport science, athlete management,  and a diverse set of skills to truly help them achieve peak performance.  This three day course will provide the participants with the knowledge to create more effective training plans, identify how common injuries occur and how to prevent them, and develop an understanding of what resources are available to be a great coach.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This symposium was designed for Certified Triathlon Coaches and other coaches involved in swimming, cycling, and running.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
•    Apply current concepts of physiology and physiologic testing and their  applications in developing a multi-sport training plan.
•    Understand the proper biomechanics for swimming, cycling, and running, how to identify when there is a problem, and the resources that are available in developing solutions.
•    With the coach as the general manager of his/her athletes, understand what a true performance enhancement team consists of, how to make appropriate and correct referrals, and better serve your athletes’ needs.
